City of Toledo to host Homesteading Network class focused on seed starting and transplanting

Toledo, OH – The City of Toledo announced that Food Policy Manager Mara Mominee will lead the next Homesteading Network class later this month, giving participants the opportunity to learn about seed starting and transplanting.

According to the city, the Homesteading Network group meets every third Thursday of the month through December from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Officials said participation is free for community members who would like to attend.

The upcoming session will focus on techniques for starting seeds and transplanting plants as part of the city’s ongoing educational programming related to gardening and homesteading practices.

City officials encouraged interested residents to register for the class using the link provided by the city.
