Toledo police seek suspect, identify second person of interest in Old West End Festival shooting investigation

Toledo, OH -The Toledo Police Department has issued arrest warrants for a suspect in connection with a shooting that occurred during the Old West End Festival on June 6, 2026.

According to police, investigators obtained warrants for Ka Nye Taylor, 20, on 11 counts of felonious assault following numerous interviews and investigative leads related to the incident.

Authorities said Taylor is wanted in connection with the shooting and described him as a Black male standing 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

As the investigation continued, detectives also obtained photographs of a second alleged shooter and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual.

Police are asking anyone with information about Taylor’s whereabouts or the identity of the second suspect to contact Crime Stoppers. Tipsters may remain anonymous.

Officials said a reward of up to $10,000 is being offered through Crime Stoppers for information leading to arrests in the case. The U.S. Marshals Service has also offered a reward of up to $5,000.

The Toledo Police Department said the investigation remains active and ongoing.
