Toledo, OH – The Toledo Fire & Rescue Department announced the retirement of firefighter Joe Mazur following 25 years of service to the City of Toledo.
According to the department, Mazur was appointed on July 7, 2001, and spent more than two decades serving the community with dedication, leadership, and commitment to duty.
Department officials said his impact on both the department and the community will continue through the firefighters he mentored and led throughout his career.
On behalf of Fire Chief Allison Armstrong and the entire department, Toledo Fire & Rescue extended congratulations and gratitude to Mazur for his years of service.
Officials also wished him the best in retirement and thanked him for his contributions to the department and the City of Toledo.
