Toledo, OH – The City of Toledo held a press conference on August 26 to celebrate Women’s Equality Day 2025 and announce registration for the upcoming Breaking the Cycle of Violence Summit.
The summit, scheduled for October 1, is a training conference designed for youth, professionals, and community leaders.
Participants will gain practical skills and knowledge to address gender-based and teen dating violence.
Sessions will cover topics such as resilience building after trauma, emerging therapeutic interventions, and the hidden realities of human trafficking.
City officials encouraged community members to register for the summit to engage with experts and learn strategies to combat violence and support survivors.
