Fatal Crash in Wood County Claims Life of Toledo Man

TROY TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A Toledo man died from injuries sustained in a crash on State Route 420 in Troy Township on Saturday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 4 p.m. when 24-year-old Jaden H. Quinn, driving a 2023 Mazda CX30 southbound on State Route 420, reportedly crossed the median and collided with another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction. The crash took place near Truman Road in Wood County.

Quinn was transported to a hospital in Toledo, where he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday, according to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office. The other driver, a 29-year-old man from Pemberville, was treated for injuries and released from the hospital shortly after the crash.

Both Quinn and the other driver were wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision, authorities confirmed.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation as deputies continue to gather details.
