Fulton County, OHIO – A young driver from Sylvania lost his life in a single-car crash early Sunday morning in Swan Creek Township, authorities reported.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 18-year-old Timothy Urbina was driving a 1992 Chevy Camaro on County Road D near Birdsong Lane when he lost control of the vehicle around 3:30 a.m. The car veered off the road and struck a tree, resulting in fatal injuries.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Urbina was pronounced dead at the site of the crash. At this time, authorities have not released further details regarding the cause of the accident, and the crash remains under investigation.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is continuing to look into the circumstances surrounding the crash. No other vehicles or individuals were involved.
