Toledo Fire Investigators Seek Cause of Glenwood Avenue Blaze

TOLEDO, Ohio — Authorities are investigating the cause of a house fire that broke out on Glenwood Avenue Tuesday evening.

On January 21, Toledo Fire and Rescue responded to reports of a fire at a residence in the 2800 block of Glenwood Avenue. Upon arrival, crews found that the fire had spread to the second-floor bedroom. However, firefighters were able to contain the flames quickly and prevent further damage to the structure.

The house was occupied by two people at the time of the fire. Both individuals were able to escape safely and were unharmed. No injuries were reported during the incident.

Fire officials stated that investigators have been called to the scene to determine the origin and cause of the fire. At this time, the exact cause remains under investigation.
