West Omaha house fire displaces family

Crews were called to the home near West Center Road and South 163rd Circle around 2:30 a.m. Monday morning. Firefighters put out the flames in 20 minutes. The family got out of the home quickly. First responders were able to rescue a cat trapped in the home, but the family dog did not survive.
