Toledo Police Search for Hit-and-Run Driver Involving Teenager

TOLEDO, Ohio — The Toledo Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run incident that left a 14-year-old injured on April 15. The accident occurred at the intersection of Nevada and Raymer Streets around 11:20 a.m. as the teenager was traveling south on Raymer.

According to a statement from the Toledo Police Department, the unknown driver was heading west on Nevada when the vehicle struck the teen. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, and the injured teenager was transported to a nearby hospital. The severity of the teenager’s injuries remains unclear.

The police report did not specify whether the teen was in a car, on a bike, or using another type of motorized vehicle at the time of the crash. The driver, however, did not stop after the collision and fled the scene, continuing west on Nevada.

Currently, authorities have not provided any details regarding the make or model of the vehicle involved, nor have they released any information about the suspect. As the investigation continues, the Toledo Police Department is urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
