Toledo, OH – According to the police officials, the 72nd Toledo Police Academy will host a back-to-school supply giveaway for City of Toledo children on Sunday, August 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the parking lot of The Ribbon at Glass City Metropark.
The event is part of the academy’s Community Service component, which requires each cadet to complete 16 hours of volunteer service in order to graduate.
In addition to organizing the giveaway, cadets have completed service with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Toledo, Food for Thought, and Keep Toledo/Lucas County Beautiful.
