TOLEDO, Ohio — A 62-year-old Toledo man was arrested Sunday on charges of aggravated robbery after police say he held up an adult store and threw a chair at an employee during the robbery.
Federico Flores, whose 62nd birthday is later this week, was taken into custody after an investigation revealed he was the suspect in the Feb. 3 incident at the Adult Pleasures store. Authorities report that Flores entered the store around 4 p.m., brandished a knife, and demanded money from the clerk.
During the robbery, Flores allegedly became violent, striking an individual with a chair in the stomach before fleeing the scene. The suspect left the store with approximately $350 in cash.
Investigators were able to identify Flores as the suspect through a photo array, leading to his arrest on Sunday. Jail records indicate he was booked at 6:45 p.m. on a charge of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
Flores is currently being held at the Lucas County Jail. Authorities have not released additional details about his potential court appearance.
