TOLEDO, Ohio – A 27-year-old man is facing charges after allegedly assaulting a woman, leaving her unconscious with visible injuries.
The incident occurred Monday at a residence on the 3000 block of Fulton Street. According to authorities, Bobby Fench is accused of punching the victim in the face, knocking her to the ground. He then reportedly continued to punch and kick her before slamming her into the ground.
The attack left the woman with cuts and abrasions on her face, and she was unconscious for more than ten minutes.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and provided medical attention to the victim, who was later transported to a local hospital.
The woman’s injuries were described as serious, but she is expected to recover. Fench was arrested at the scene and is currently facing charges related to the assault. He appeared in court on Tuesday morning, where he was formally arraigned.
