TOLEDO, Ohio – A 63-year-old bike rider was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck in a hit-and-run accident Wednesday afternoon on Dorr Street.
The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. in the 5400 block of Dorr Street, near the intersection of Dorr and Sibley, when the victim was exiting the driveway of Kensington Place Apartments. According to police at the scene, the man was hit by a red truck or SUV traveling eastbound. Authorities confirmed that the driver of the vehicle did not stop after the collision and continued fleeing the area.
