Lima Man Arrested After Assault and Shooting at Toledo Waffle House

TOLEDO, Ohio – A Lima man was taken into custody Tuesday after allegedly assaulting two individuals at a Waffle House in Toledo and then firing shots at a car in the parking lot.

According to police records, the incident occurred on February 28 at the Waffle House located at 2454 S. Reynolds Road. Authorities report that Tiwane Robinson, 29, became involved in a confrontation with a man and a woman inside the restaurant. After the altercation, the victims fled the scene, entering a car occupied by six other individuals. Robinson allegedly followed them outside and fired two shots at the vehicle.

Robinson was arrested and charged with two counts of felonious assault in connection with the incident. Police confirmed that the entire sequence of events was captured by surveillance cameras at the Waffle House.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident, and Robinson is currently being held pending further legal proceedings. The victims, whose identities have not been released, were reportedly uninjured in the shooting.

The incident has raised concerns about public safety in local establishments, and law enforcement officials are urging witnesses to come forward with any additional information that might assist in the case.
